Minister Amit Shah said that the Narendra Modi government has done it.

district ahead of the November 12 assembly elections, Shah said that on August
5, 2019, the Modi government abrogated Article 370 of the Constitution, which
granted special status to Jammu and Kashmir. "Did you ever think that
Article 370 will be abrogated," he asked the activists. Congress leaders
and workers remain silent when questioned about Article 370. He said that the
reason was Jawaharlal Nehru. Congress used to make fun of us even in the matter
of construction of Ram Mandir. They were asking whether it is possible to build

Research needed for development of
inland fisheries: CM Bommai
Bengaluru: Food plays a very important
role in human life. Eating a healthy diet is important, food maintains balance
in the world. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommayi said that balance cannot be
achieved with only vegetarianism or only non-vegetarianism. Fish is a food from
the beginning. Fish is a vegetarian animal, but those who eat fish are
non-vegetarians, and in some countries eating fish is called vegetarian. Fish
provides a lot of nutrients. He said that because the fish is in the water, it
is clean. Because there is a lot of effort in fish production, a lot of people
are getting employment. New research is needed on inland fisheries development.
If research is done and new varieties are tried, the production will increase.
CM Bommai said that he is giving more support to sea fishing. There is considerable
variation in fish production along the coast. Coastal fishermen are only
trolling 8 nautical miles, while deeper fishing yields richer fish. We have
decided to provide 100 deep sea fishing vessels in the state through our Grant
Minister's Fishermen's Scheme. He said that 40% of it is subsidy. I have
decided to give diesel as much as kerosene to fishermen. The CM said that if
the ships were damaged in the flood, funds would be provided for their repairs.
One lake in each Gram Panchayat will be provided for minugari. Subsidy will be
provided for inland fishing. A lot of scale up is yet to happen in Karnataka
fisheries. Adjacent Andhra Pradesh is quite advanced. Bommayi said that a
delegation will go there and study, and steps will be taken to double the
amount of lightning in the state. 5000 houses have been given to fishermen
families. He said that the target is to build the house by the end of January.
There is a lot of demand for fish in Bangalore. The government has decided to
open fish sales outlets in all the wards under BBMP. He said that space will be
arranged by BBMP for private persons to open shops. Comprehensive development
in agriculture means fisheries, dairy farming. In addition, factories are
needed for processing. He said that the business service sector will grow
through that.
