Decision on expansion
of state cabinet rests with CM: Arun Singh
Bengaluru: The Chief Minister will
decide on the expansion of the state cabinet. BJP national general secretary
and Karnataka in-charge Arun Singh said on Monday that the CM has the supreme
power in this. Talking to reporters at Chikkodi BJP office, he said that BJP is
the largest party and has government in 18 states. There are also state-central
election committees associated with the party. He said that a collective
decision is taken in matters such as candidate selection. Candidate selection
will be finalized when the election notification is out. Answering the question
that there is no action against Yatnal, he said, Do you want to take action?
Let's take action, he said. There are no fights in BJP in Belgaum; He said that
everyone is working together. Today Sammananidhi was released for farmers under
Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Yojana. Millions of people in the state and crores
of people in the country are benefiting from it. He congratulated Prime
Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai for getting Rs
10,000 each to eligible farmers in the state. This money is directly
transferred to the farmers account. The houses of the poor have not had gas
connection for many decades. He explained that Modiji has done the work of
providing gas connection and women are happy with it. The beneficiaries of
Ayushman cards are also thanking the Prime Minister. People are thanking the
central and state governments of BJP for saving lives by providing free ration
to crores of people during the Covid period. Chikkodi and the people of this
region expressed confidence that the day has come when BJP MLAs will be
elected. The Congress party had done nothing but treachery to the people. So he
did not have the courage to talk to the beneficiaries during the Bharat Jodo
Yatra. He said that the time has come to question why public works such as gas
connection, Ayushman Yojana, Kisan Samman Nidhi were not implemented during the
tenure of Congress.
