Situation is critical, leave Ukraine as soon as
possible':
Indian embassy warns citizens
Kiev: As the situation in
Ukraine continues to deteriorate, the Indian Embassy in Kiev has advised Indian
citizens currently in Ukraine to avoid travel to the war-torn region and leave
immediately. In view of the deteriorating security situation across Ukraine and
Russia's increasing hostility in recent times, Indian nationals have been
advised not to travel to Ukraine, the Indian Embassy in Ukraine said on its
Twitter account. Indian citizens, including students currently in Ukraine, have
been advised to leave Ukraine as soon as possible through all possible means of
transport, the embassy said. Earlier Monday, several explosions were heard in
Kiev early in the morning, which were reported to be attacks by Iranian-made
drones targeting Ukrainian cities and infrastructure there. At least five
people have been killed so far in Russia's attack on the Ukrainian capital,
Kyiv Mayor Vitaly Klitschko said. Another dead resident, an elderly woman, was
pulled from the rubble of a building in the center of the capital that was hit
by a Russian kamikaze drone yesterday morning. It is already the fifth victim
of Russia's barbaric attacks. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said 30
percent of Ukraine's power stations were destroyed due to the Russian attack.
Another type of Russian terror attacks: Russia has been targeting Ukrainian
energy and critical infrastructure since October 10, destroying 30 percent of
Ukraine's power stations, fueling further outrage against the Russian regime
across the country and leaving nothing to be negotiated. The war between Russia
and Ukraine escalated recently after a truck exploded on a Crimea road bridge,
setting fire to seven fuel tanks on a train bound for the Crimean peninsula.

Goan-born father and a Tamil-born mother, was appointed Home Secretary when
British Prime Minister Liz Truss took office 43 days ago. He resigned as home

appear that the resignation was due to a difference in government policy. New
